PAGADIAN CITY (July 31, 2014-PCR) – The Pagadian City Police Station had received two awards from the Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial Office (ZSPPO) on Friday at Camp Abelon, Lumbia District, this City.

ZSPPO Provincial Director Senior Supt. Atty. Sofronio Palama Ecaldre cited two awards to PCPS as the most numbered of accomplishment on the confiscation of Loose Firearms for the month of June 2014 in the implementation of ‘Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act of 2013’ and the most numbered of seized Illegal Drugs pursuant to the implementation of R.A. 9165 otherwise known as “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002’ for the month of June 2014.

City Chief of Police commend tricycle driver for returning found wallet

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (July 14, 2014-MPF-News) ---  Pagadian City Police Chief Supt Glenn Dulawan had commended the Tricycle Driver as exemplified honest for returning the abandoned wallet found along the city street despite the hardship of life.

Supt. Dulawan identified the driver as Alejandro Mendoza y Saagundo, 36 years old, male and a resident of Purok Caimito, Barangay Tuburan, this City.

Dulawan said Sunday that on July 8 at 5:50 PM he turn-over to the police station one brown wallet containing Driver’s License ID, Company, Land Bank ATM Card, PNB Check with an amount of Php2,460.00 and cash money amounting to Php6,960.00.

Police, AKG declares false kidnap in Pagadian City and unmask the alleged victim

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (July 6, 2014) --- The joint operatives of the Pagadian City police and Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) declared the kidnapping incident in Pagadian City as false and unmasked the alleged victim after the authorities successfully recover her at Karakong, Salug, Zamboanga del Norte Thursday night, Police Official said.

Pagadian City Chief of Police Supt. Glenn M. Dulawan said Saturday that after two days and nights of tracking the alleged kidnap victim in the province of Lanao del Norte resulted the recovery of their abandoned vehicle at Kapatagan, they proceeded immediately Thursday night to Liloy after he received a mobile phone call from Chief Inspector Jonathan Yabo of Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Police Office (ZNPPO) that they recovered the victim and was brought the victim to Liloy Hospital in Zamboanga del Norte for medical treatment. 

Dulawan said the kidnap victim identified as Pebelyn Bertulfo Y Mondido, 38, former overseas Filipino worker resident of Gumahan, Josefina, Zamboanga Del Sur. she was allegedly triplet pregnant and was reported missing  while they were on shopping inside Gaisano Capital Mall at San Pedro District, Pagadian City.
