P1.5 M Worth of Shabu Seized in Drug Buy-bust Operation in Brgy. Sta Lucia, Pagadian City


An estimated One Million Five Hundred Thousand Pesos (P1,500,000.00) worth of shabu was seized on a drug buy-bust or entrapment operation conducted by joint elements of PDEA, ZSPIB and Intelligence operatives of this station led by PSI Rommel Gabriel Etbew – Deputy Chief of Police and Team Leader of PAIDSOTF under the supervision of PSupt Glenn Macario Dulawan on October 6, 2014 around 5:30 O'clock in the afternoon at Benigno Aquino St., Sta. Lucia Dist. this city.


The suspect identified as one Albadar Abdul y Alibasa, male, 22 years old, single and a resident of Bus-bus, Jolo, Sulu was arrested after he sold and delivered the shabu to the PNP operative who posted as Poseur Buyer of illegal drugs in exchange for Php 140,000.00 pesos. 

Following his arrest, the team were able to confiscate from the suspect's possession the following items: One (1) Yellow pack KRS Motorcycle tube having inside one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu; ten (10) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with an estimated weight of 552.5 grams with an estimated market value of One Million Five Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 1,500,000.00), and the buy-bust money (One (1) piece One Thousand Peso Bill bearing serial number GQ765287 on top of play money placed inside a globe window envelope).

Subject person is now temporarily detained at PAIDSOTF lock-up cell while a case for violation of Sec. 5 and 11, Art. II of RA 9165 is now being prepared for filing in court.
