Suspect of illegal drug trade nab

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (Sept. 17, 2014) --- Another suspect of illegal drug trade in the city was arrested by the City Police Intelligence Operatives during the illegal drug buy-bust operations Tuesday afternoon along F.S. Pajares Avenue, Gatas District this city.

Pagadian City Chief of Police Supt. Glenn Dulawan identified the suspect as Joel delos Santos y Arill 47 years old, married and a residents of Purok Sili, Barangay Danlugan, this city.

Police operatives led by Senior Insp. Romel Gabriel Etbew confiscated from the possession of the suspect 9 pieces of small size of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu and 5 pieces rolled aluminum foils, some illegal drugs paraphernalia, disposable lighter and the mark money.

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (Sep. 16, 2014-) --- The joint forces of the Provincial Anti Illegal Drug Special Operation Task Force (PAIDSOTF), Pagadian City Police Station and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) successfully arrested 2 members of Philippine Marines soldiers during the illegal drug Buy-bust operation along Padap Road, San Jose District this city.

Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial Director Sofronio Ecaldre identified the suspects as CPL Ryan Depuno y Monterner a resident of Sta Lucia, this city and PFC Silvano Jenisan y Caindoy a resident of Cagayan del Oro City both are active members of Philippine Marines assigned in Cotabato City.

Ecaldre said the two suspects were arrested Monday at 5:00 PM near Anastacia Pensionne house after they agreed to sell and deliver to a PDEA agent acted as poseur buyer of Shabu.

The  police operatives confiscated from their possession 15 pieces of small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance locally known as shabu.

Also confiscated from them one cal. 45 pistol with two magazines and 19 pieces of cal.45 ammunitions.

Both suspects were detained at PDEA detention cell while the case of violation of sec 5 and 11 Article II of R.A. 9165 is being prepared for filling in court. (MPF-JC)

Police nab habal-habal driver for illegal drug trade

PAGADIAN CITY (September 1, 2014) -– The Pagadian City Police operatives lead by Senior Insp. Rommel Gabriel Etbew successfully arrested the Habal-habal driver during the drug buy-bust operation Sunday at about 11:45 in the evening at Baranagay Tawagan Sur Bus Stop Terminal this city. 

The arrested suspect identified as Lito Bacalso Y Casipong, 21 years old and a resident of Purok Esmeralda, San Jose, Pagadian City.

The Police operatives confiscated from the possession of the suspect 10 pieces of small size heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu, 10 pieces of aluminum foils and Ph200 cash marked money.

Pagadian City Chief of Police Supt. Glennn M. Dulawan said the arrest of the suspect was the result of a week-long surveillance following the information from the community in the area.

Suspect is now temporary detained at Pagadian City Police Station lock-up cell while a case is now being prepared for filing at prosecutor’s office.
