PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (March 6, 2015) – The members of the Pagadian City Police Station and the Provincial Police Office here will be joining the nationwide simultaneous Sympathy March during the culmination of the 44th Day of Mourning for the Special Action Force (SAF) 44 on Sunday March 8.

National Police Academy Alumni Association Inc. (PNPAAAI) and City Chief of
Police Supt. Glenn M. Dulawan said Friday the 44th Day of Mourning
of SAF 44 falls on March 9 but the nationwide simultaneous Sympathy March will be held on Sunday at 5:00a.m.
Dulawan
said three of the 44 fallen SAF policemen were natives of this province.
They
are Senior Insp. John Garry Erana (PNPA Class 2009) and Insp. Rennie Tayrus
(PNPA Class 2011), both from nearby Dumalinao town, and Police Officer 3 (PO3)
Virgel Villanueva of the coastal town of San Pablo.
Dulawan
said the PNP members together with the friends, relatives and families of 3 SAF
members will assemble in front of Pagadian City Hall Complex with a short
program after the sympathy march at the Plaza Luz Taklobo Stage.
He
said the students from the different schools of this city and the members of
the Civil Society Organization and Non-government Organization (CSO-NGOs) will
